Lucky for us in the Northeast- this Memorial Day weekend is predicted to be beautiful! If you haven't done so already now is the time to break into one of the biggest trends of the season, your Summer Brights! No matter if you are heading to the beach this weekend (lucky you... I will be painting and unpacking as I move into a new home) or sticking around town and doing the BBQ thing w/friends and family... be bold and be bright!
There are so many great options for everyone to wear brights and wear them right. Brights are great for lifting your spirits, adding to your confidence and making sure everyone in the room knows you are there. So how do you know when too bright is too much? Well... if you are wearing a great pair of bright yellow shorts, like the Bandonlino Blue shorts below, wear a neutral top. This season we are seeing A LOT of yellow paired with grey, black, tan and brown. If you are wearing an exceptionally bright top, you might want to go with a well-fitting denim skirt or khaki bermudas. Trust me, it's possible to be bright without being obnoxious.
TIP TO REMEMBER: You can wear ANY bright, a highly saturated pure color with ANY neutral, tan, brown, black, grey, white. Metallics are even considered to be neutrals. Trust me on this... yes even brown looks great with any bright color.
